Five communities will compete for the title of “Youth Capital”
The application submission phase for the 2027 “Youth Capital” competition has concluded. Applications were submitted by Goris, Masis, Vagharshapat, Stepanavan, and Vedi.
According to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (MESCS), the winning community will be announced based on a combination of the expert evaluation of the applications and the results of an SMS voting process. The submitted programs have been made public for review and comparison.
It should be recalled that Kapan was recognized as the Youth Capital for 2026, where large-scale programs and events are planned. In order to consolidate this year’s programs, the MESCS has decided to merge the financial and human resources allocated for the “CIS Youth Capital 2026” program and Armenia’s Youth Capital initiative, thereby increasing Kapan’s visibility at the regional and international levels.
