A number of MPs from the “Civil Contract” faction are not included in the 2026 proportional list: Who are they?

Khachatur Sukiasyan, Member of Parliament (MP) from the “Civil Contract” faction of the National Assembly (NA) of the Republic of Armenia (RA), has not been nominated on the ruling party’s proportional list for the 2026 parliamentary elections. This was reported by his press secretary, Anna Mkrtchyan, without providing details regarding the reasons.

Hrachya Hakobyan is also not included in the list; according to his spokesperson, he will announce the reasons later. It should be noted that the latter is the brother-in-law of Nikol Pashinyan.

NA MPs Lena Nazaryan and Kristine Poghosyan have also not been nominated on the list.

Earlier, Vagharshak Hakobyan, an MP from the “Civil Contract” faction, announced that the party’s proportional list for the 2026 elections would be compiled through a vote by delegates. Responsible party candidates could self-nominate from November 1 to 30, inclusive. The process was open to both party members and non-partisan individuals, provided they had a recommendation letter from a member of the board.

It is recalled that the next parliamentary elections in the Republic of Armenia will take place in June 2026.
