Investigative Committee uncovers another “call center”
The Investigative Committee has uncovered another “call center.” This marks the 5th such case this year.
Searches were conducted both at the mentioned call center and at the apartment of one of the organization’s members.
As a result of the measures, approximately 80,000 USD obtained through criminal means, gold jewelry, computers, data storage devices, and work mobile phones with covered camera lenses were discovered and seized. Additionally, lists of phone numbers, call scripts, messenger correspondence with victims, as well as photos of victims’ passports and personal data were found.
Digital reports on the scale of the thefts, tables detailing the distribution of roles among organization members, passwords for hundreds of crypto wallets, accounts, and details of monetary transfers were also seized.
Efforts to identify the leaders and members of the criminal organization are ongoing.
