Armenia improves its position in the Henley & Partners Passport Index

Armenia has moved forward in the 2026 global passport ranking, improving its standing. According to the “Global Ranking 2026” report compiled by Henley & Partners, Armenia ranks 71st, compared to 74th place last year.

The Henley & Partners Passport Index indicates how many countries a holder of a given country’s passport can visit without a visa. The 2026 index includes passports from 199 countries and 227 travel destinations.

The report notes that citizens holding an Armenian passport can travel to 66 countries worldwide without a visa, whereas last year that figure stood at 68.

In the regional context, Georgia leads in 42nd place. Turkey and EAEU member Russia share 46th place. Azerbaijan is ranked 67th, while Iran holds the 92nd position.

Among EAEU countries, Belarus ranks 60th, Kazakhstan 61st, and Kyrgyzstan 75th.

It is noteworthy that Singapore tops the list, with its citizens able to visit 192 countries without a visa.
