Zara Aramyan passes away

Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, actress and TV host Zara Aramyan has passed away at the age of 55.

Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, made a social media post regarding her death:

“Our joyful Zara is no longer with us. Rest in light…”

Zara Feliksi Aramyan was born on July 1, 1970, in Yerevan. For years, she was active in the fields of radio, television, and theater, presenting herself to the audience both as a host and an actress.

From 1993 to 2002, she worked at the National Radio of Armenia in the “Voice of Armenia” editorial office, and later hosted the “Tasty Talk” (Hamov Zruyts) program on television. From 2003 to 2018, she was active at the Armenian Second TV Channel (h2). She appeared in more than 300 television projects and performed in a number of feature films and theatrical productions.

In 2014, she was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Culture of Armenia by the President of the Republic of Armenia

Earlier, it was reported that Zara Aramyan had been admitted to the Heratsi Hospital Complex No. 1 in Yerevan due to serious heart issues and oxygen insufficiency, where she was in the intensive care unit. Doctors had assessed her condition as extremely critical.
