Illegal meat production case uncovered in Vanadzor
According to the Police, a father and son, residents of Gai Street in Vanadzor, were engaged in the illegal production and sale of meat products in their home. According to the information, the son also possessed drugs.
The 26-year-old youth was located on Vardanants Street. A paper package containing a yellowish-green substance and two droppers were found in his possession. The young man did not deny that his 60-year-old father had been smoking meat products for a long time and selling them at the Vanadzor market.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated at the Lori Regional Investigative Department. During the preliminary inspection, 159 units of illegally prepared meat products, as well as machinery, tools, and raw materials intended for production, were found in the basement of the house on Gai Street.
During a search conducted at the same address on February 4, an additional 465 units of meat products, 77 bags intended for smoked meat, and various tools were discovered. The preliminary investigation into the case is ongoing.
