Tigran Barseghyan retires from the Armenia national team

Armenian national team footballer Tigran Barseghyan is officially ending his career with the national team, the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) reports.

“It has been a great honor and responsibility for me to wear the Armenian national team jersey for years and defend the colors of our country. I would like to thank all the coaches, my teammates, the medical and administrative staff of the national team, the FFA employees, and, of course, our loyal fans, who have always been by our side during both victories and defeats,” Barseghyan wrote on his Facebook page.

Tigran Barseghyan played for the Armenian national team from 2016 to 2025. He made 64 appearances for the national team, scoring 9 goals and providing 14 assists.

Earlier, Varazdat Haroyan and Lucas Zelarayán also ended their careers with the Armenian national team.
