More than 20 young men beat another youth in Yerevan
In Yerevan, in the area adjacent to the National Library of Armenia, a group of young men beat another youth. One person has been detained in connection with the incident. This was reported by the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA.
The incident occurred on February 23, at approximately 10:30 AM. According to the police, an officer of the Police Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while on duty, noticed that more than two dozen young men had attacked one individual.
To prevent further developments, the officers fired two warning shots into the air.
The police detained one individual, who was presented to the Kentron District Division of the Community Police. Measures are being taken to identify and locate the other participants in the incident.
