Pretrial measure selected for the former director of Shengavit Kindergarten No. 143
A ban on absence, a bail of 2 million AMD, and suspension from office have been selected as pretrial measures for Ruzanna Danielyan, the former director and acting director of Nursery-Kindergarten No. 143. This information was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia.
Danielyan was arrested just two working days after her reappointment.
She is accused of embezzlement of particularly large-scale property entrusted to her and receiving large-scale bribes.
The criminal proceedings regarding the abuses recorded in the kindergarten were initiated in June-July 2024 and are currently in the preliminary investigation stage.
It should be noted that in March 2017, prior to the regular National Assembly elections, Danielyan worked for the RPA (Republican Party of Armenia), which was uncovered by Daniel Ioannisyan, the coordinator of the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO, who published a recording proving the fact.
