Israel launches strike against Iran
According to Israeli sources, Israel has carried out a preemptive strike against Iran, targeting approximately 30 sites.
According to the same sources, the targets included facilities of strategic importance, among them the residence of the President of Iran and the intelligence headquarters. An Israeli security official stated that the target is the Iranian elite.
Israeli media outlets note that the action was carried out as a joint American-Israeli operation. It has been officially declared that the strike was preemptive in nature.
Amidst the situation, a state of emergency has been declared in Israel due to expected potential retaliatory actions from Iran. Schools in the country have been closed, mass gatherings have been prohibited, and the population has been urged to remain at home as much as possible.
