Citizens in Qatar are in contact with the Embassy
Since the start of military operations, 41 citizens of the Republic of Armenia in transit through Qatar have contacted the RA Embassy in Qatar. The Embassy reports that communication with the citizens is ongoing.
It is noted that 38 of the citizens were traveling via Qatar Airways. The airline has provided them with all necessary accommodation and catering conditions.
According to the Embassy, two of the citizens required medication; the necessary assistance was provided by the RA Embassy in Doha.
On March 6, a meeting was organized at the Embassy, attended by all RA citizens remaining in Doha. During the discussion, the Embassy assessed their needs.
At the same time, it is noted that there are three other RA citizens in Qatar, for whom possible options for returning to Armenia are also being considered.
According to preliminary data, the flight scheduled for Yerevan is currently included in the Qatar Airways schedule for March 9.
