Incidence of acute respiratory infections at medium activity level

During the 10th week of 2026, medium activity of morbidity caused by acute respiratory infections (ARI) was recorded in Armenia.

This was reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The incidence rate is 1.4 times lower compared to the same period last year.

Almost 82.6% of the total cases involve children aged 0-18, predominantly among those aged 0-4, where the highest morbidity rate continues to be recorded.

According to the center, respiratory syncytial virus, rhinovirus, and adenovirus continue to circulate in Armenia, serving as the primary causes of acute respiratory infections.
