
“Shirak” Joins the Demand for the Resignation of the Current FFA Leadership
Fan movements of Armenian clubs have been organizing protests during the final rounds of the Fastex Armenian Premier League. Fans have been entering the field with special banners reading “YOUR TIME HAS COME” and “Change Now, Win Tomorrow.” The aim of these actions is to call for the resignation of the current leadership of the FFA (Football Federation of Armenia).
Several Armenian clubs have issued official statements, aligning themselves with the fans’ demand. Among the clubs in the Premier League, Yerevan’s “Pyunik,” “Urartu,” and Gyumri’s “Shirak” have joined the call for resignation.
Yerevan’s “Ararat” and “West Armenia” have expressed support for the current FFA leadership in official statements.
The remaining six teams in the Fastex Armenian Premier League have not provided any assessment of the situation.
