The release of hazardous food has been suspended
The operation of a dairy production facility in the town of Gavar, Gegharkunik Province, has been suspended. Laboratory tests of samples revealed that the products do not meet the required standards.
The examination determined that the “Chanakh” cheese under the “Hatsarat” brand contains coliform bacteria. These microorganisms produce toxins in the body that damage the lining of the small intestine.
Deviations were also found in the sample of “Matsun” dairy product from the same brand. The yeasts detected in the product failed to meet the requirements established by the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union.
By the decision of the inspection authority, instructions were issued to prohibit the sale of the products, recall them from the market, and proceed with their destruction.
