Microbiological Nonconformities in the Poultry of the “Golden Rooster Plus” Brand

The operations of the poultry production facility owned by “Golden Chicken Plus” LLC in the Kotayk region have been suspended. Violations were identified both in the produced goods and in the sanitary and hygienic conditions of the facility.

Samples from the available batches of whole chicken and chicken breast were collected and sent for examination. It was found that the whole chicken sample did not meet the requirements set by the Customs Union’s technical regulations due to the presence of pathogenic salmonella microorganisms.

Many people become infected with salmonella when they consume food contaminated with feces. As a result, they develop an acute intestinal illness characterized by severe poisoning of the body and a wide range of clinical symptoms.

Additionally, the facility lacked restrooms and sinks, and the floors, ceilings, and doors were not made of washable and disinfectable materials. The staff did not have proper clothing.

The sale of the product was prohibited, were recalled from the market and destroyed.
