The government has reviewed and expanded the list of banned food additives to ensure food safety

At its January 23 session, the Armenian government approved a €45.3 million loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to implement healthcare programs in the country.

Starting April 1, 2025, neonatal screening will be expanded to include the regions. This was announced by the Ministry of Health.

A significant increase in respiratory infections, including Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV), has been observed in the country. It ia noted particularly in northern regions. HMPV is a well-known respiratory virus that usually causes mild symptoms but can lead to more severe conditions in newborns, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
