Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which they discussed several important topics, including the outcomes of Armenia’s presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), upcoming initiatives within the EAEU framework, and issues on the bilateral agenda. Today, January 17, a protest took place in front of the UN office in Yerevan, demanding the release of Armenian captives held in Baku. The protesters also marched to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Grigor Iskandaryan, a member of the Yerevan City Council’s “Mother Armenia” faction, has filed a lawsuit against the father of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Armen Avinyan, for calling “Opel” drivers “hooligans.”
