A house burned down in the village of Garni: There is A Casualty
A house caught fire in the village of Garni. It resulted to one fatality. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On December 27, around 11:00 AM, a call regarding a fire was received at the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department. According to the report, the fire broke out in one of the houses on Azatamartikner Street (approximately 20 square meters). During firefighting operations, a charred body was discovered.
The fire was contained by 11:40 AM and extinguished by 12:25 PM. The house’s belongings were also burned.
It should be noted that this is not the only tragic incident today. An explosion occurred in a vehicle at a gas station on the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway near the village of Ddmashen in the Gegharkunik region. Preliminary reports suggest the explosion happened in a “UAZ” vehicle during refueling. A man’s body was found inside the vehicle.
