Fire breaks out in Lori Province
A fire has broken out in a grassy area between the settlements of Urasar and Katnaghbyur in Lori Province.
Since yesterday, regional operational groups of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Rescue Service, two fire and rescue crews and two operational groups from fire-rescue detachments, as well as volunteers from the “Lore” rescue detachment and local residents, have been working at the scene.
According to rumors circulating on social media, the fire, which started in Shirak Province, has reached the settlements of Spitak, Urasar, and Katnaghbyur. However, sources from Spitak informed Amnews that no fire or smoke is currently visible.
