Major car accident in Yerevan: three of the victims are children
A major car accident occurred in Yerevan this morning, resulting in six injuries.
The incident took place around 09:30 on the road section leading from the Heratsi Tunnel to the Khanjyan Tunnel. Toyota, Mercedes Sprinter, Chevrolet, and Voyah vehicles collided with each other. As a result of the collision, the Mercedes Sprinter veered off the roadway and hit a concrete barrier.
Six citizens were transported to various medical centers in Yerevan following the accident. Three of the injured are children. No details regarding their health status have been reported at this time.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the incident. Law enforcement authorities are determining the identities of the drivers and the injured, as well as the causes and circumstances of the accident.
