The allocations from the state budget to the Ministry of Internal Affairs are expected to increase by 18% next year compared to this year
Today, the National Assembly discussed the financial allocations and budget programs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Deputy Minister Arpine Sargsyan stated that, according to the 2025 draft state budget, the total allocations to the Ministry of Internal Affairs amount to 105 billion drams.
During the initial discussions of the 2024 state budget, the total allocations for the Ministry of Internal Affairs amounted to 89,484.7 million drams.
For the coming year, the ministry’s allocations are 18% higher than this year.
According to the Deputy Minister, the ministry will implement six programs in the coming year.
Last year, the issue of establishing a police guard to replace the police forces in 2024 was discussed. Today’s discussions also touched upon the topic of forming the police guard. It was noted that allocations would be provided for both operational and capital expenses for the establishment of the police guard.
