Azerbaijan to be invited to participate in COP17
Armenia is ready to host the Azerbaijani delegation within the framework of COP17, which will take place in Yerevan from October 18 to 30.
As stated by the Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan, official invitations will be sent to all states in the near future.
196 countries participate in COP17, and the Armenian side, as the host country and the president of the conference, has invited all member states in cooperation with the UN.
“One of the only important goals is joint work to address ecological challenges, and no country should be left out of this process,” the Minister emphasized.
It is recalled that on October 31, 2024, at the 16th Conference of the Parties to the Convention held in Cali, Colombia, Armenia was elected as the host country for the 17th conference.
