Perspectives of cooperation with Formula 1 discussed
On February 24, the RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received a delegation led by Valerio Iachizzi, the Secretary General for Sport of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).
During the meeting, the prospects for developing cooperation between Armenia and the FIA, including Formula 1, were discussed. The discussions focused on the full realization of Armenia’s industrial and engineering potential in the field of motorsports, as well as the promotion of tourism flows through the organization of international automobile events.
The parties also touched upon possible initiatives aimed at increasing Armenia’s investment attractiveness and strengthening the country’s international positioning.
Formula 1 is a high-class international motor racing championship where competition takes place using high-tech single-seater cars.
