A series of thefts have been solved
According to the Police, on February 20, the Operational Management Center of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) received a call from a citizen reporting that between 20:00 on February 19 and 10:20 on February 20, their electric moped, parked in the courtyard of a building on Gai Avenue, had been stolen. The victim suffered a loss of approximately 600,000 AMD.
Regarding the incident, officers of the Nor Nork Community Police Department undertook operational-search measures, as a result of which it was established that the theft was committed by two men, aged 34 and 36.
They were located near an address on Vagharshyan Street, arrested, and transported to the police station along with the stolen property.
Through further verification, law enforcement officers determined that the same individuals were also involved in thefts recorded in September 2025. Specifically, on September 15, they had stolen a “Honda” motorcycle, and on September 25, a “Hayasa” motorcycle.
The individuals, along with the compiled documents, have been presented to the preliminary investigation body. A preliminary investigation into the cases is ongoing.
