Duration of power outages at ENA reduced
Romanos Petrosyan, the Acting Head of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), has responded to Narek Karapetyan’s statement, labeling it as manipulative and inconsistent with reality.
Earlier, during a briefing with journalists, Karapetyan stated that over the last 4 months, compared to the same period last year, the number of power outages in Armenia has increased by 40%, speaking of a “total collapse” in the sector.
Petrosyan presented official statistics on the average duration of power outages in the ENA distribution network over the past 4 months.
According to the published data, the average duration was 71.56 minutes in October 2024, compared to 52.99 minutes in October 2025; 73.31 minutes in November 2024, compared to 45.70 minutes in November 2025; 79.04 minutes in December 2024, compared to 69.98 minutes in December 2025. In January 2025, it stood at 57.33 minutes, while in January of this year, it was 57.21 minutes.
