The Armenia-Iran-India Route May Become a Reality

A concrete agreement has been reached regarding organizing a trilateral meeting on launching the India-Iran-Armenia transportation route. This was announced by Iran’s ambassador, Mehdi Sobhani.

Sobhani mentioned that currently, there is nothing preventing the implementation of this project. According to him, Armenia is viewed as a link in this transport corridor, connecting the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.

The route passing through Armenia is important for both Iran and India. The countries aim to expand the supply of their goods. The route will proceed as follows: India-Iran-Armenia-Georgia-Bulgaria or Greece-Russia.
