“Jermuk Group” has been exempted from paying customs duties

The government has decided to exempt “Jermuk Group” from customs duties.

The reason for this decision is the company’s investment program worth approximately 25.3 million dollars. As part of the investment project, “Jermuk Group” will acquire 10 units of DAF XF 480 FT tractors and 10 units of Krone SDP 27 eLG50-CS isothermal trailers. The latter maintains the temperature of bottled products.

The total value of the goods will amount to 9.8 billion drams. The exemption from customs duties for this value is estimated at 600 million drams.

The company has been operating since 1999. Since 2002, it has started exporting its products. In 2016, the company established a modern production facility. The new plant is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is fully automated. Thanks to this facility, it became possible to significantly increase the volume of bottled water and meet the growing demand for exports, in particular.
