Teachers who fail to meet the minimum threshold for voluntary certification must undergo retraining and certification
Teachers who fail to meet the minimum threshold for voluntary certification are required to undergo mandatory retraining and certification within a year. This was reported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
If a teacher fails to meet the minimum threshold in the next certification process or does not participate within the specified timeframe, their employment contract will be terminated.
This regulation does not apply to teachers who failed voluntary certification in previous years. Teachers who did not meet the voluntary certification threshold in past years can continue working in public schools. The regulation will come into effect next year.
