In the village of Pokr Masrik, a new educational complex is being built

The construction of a new building for a 144-seat educational complex has begun in the village of Pokr Masrik, part of the Vardenis community in Gegharkunik Province. The project is being implemented under the Armenian Government’s “300 Schools, 500 Kindergartens” program. Construction started in December 2024 and is expected to be completed by December 2026.

The educational complex will include a secondary school, a preschool, and a kindergarten, providing modern facilities that meet current standards. It is intended for preschool and school-age children from the village of Pokr Masrik.

The contractual value of the project is 170 million AMD, which will be allocated from the state budget of Armenia. The construction work is being carried out by “Europa” LLC, commissioned by the Armenian Territorial Development Fund. Currently, work is underway on the foundations and basement level.

In Gegharkunik Province, plans include the construction of 6 schools and 9 educational complexes.
