Body of 3-year-old Tigran found in Gegharkunik
The search for little Tigran, who went missing on October 27, ended in tragedy — his body was found near Tsapatagh village, in an open field.
For several days, rescuers and police in the Gegharkunik region had been searching for the 3-year-old boy, who left home on October 27 and never returned. Soldiers and volunteers also joined the search alongside local residents.
Today, November 2, the boy’s body was found about 60 meters from the sign of Jil village, near Tsapatagh, in a field area.
The search operations began on October 30 and continued until this morning. Rescuers and police inspected the entire area, including the shores of Lake Sevan.
Sadly, the search ended in the worst possible way. Law enforcement authorities are investigating the cause of the child’s death. Local residents and volunteers deeply mourn and share the family’s grief.
