Santa Claus on the live broadcast of the National Assembly session
An interesting and amusing incident occurred during the emergency session of the National Assembly’s Permanent Committee on Defense and Security. Amidst the agenda discussions, Santa Claus could be seen behind MP Gegham Manukyan. He was especially noticeable when the camera angle shifted to focus on the MP.
The incident lasted only a few seconds. It seemed like someone was calling the “hero” out of the frame. Santa Claus then left the frame, leaving behind his costume. In the following shots, neither the costume nor Santa Claus was visible.
Despite the humorous moment, the session continued smoothly, and several agenda items were discussed. Andranik Kocharyan announced during the session that the report of the investigative committee on the circumstances of the 44-day war would be presented in a closed session, followed by criminal cases.
