Armenia Participates in an International Fashion and Apparel Exhibition

Eighteen small and medium enterprises from Armenia’s apparel and fashion industry participated in an introductory visit organized as part of international exhibitions in Paris from January 18-21.

The main goal of the visit was to provide participants with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with European market trends, quality standards, and sustainable fashion practices. This was announced by the Ministry of Economy.

As part of the events, the “Who’s Next” exhibition was organized, one of the largest fashion exhibitions in the world. It hosts over 50,000 visitors and around 1,500 brands from 100 countries.

At the same time, the “Salon International de la Lingerie” exhibition was held, showcasing leading designers and suppliers in the lingerie, homewear, and swimwear sectors.

This visit is part of the “Building Sustainable Value Chains in Clothing and Agribusiness in Armenia” program, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in close cooperation with Armenia’s Ministry of Economy.
