Bakery operations suspended

During inspections carried out by the Food Safety Inspection Body at a bakery in Yerevan belonging to “Evrika Group” LLC, a series of violations of sanitary and hygienic norms were recorded.

Specifically, the walls of the workshop had damaged sections and were not made of waterproof, washable, and disinfectable materials.

The ceilings did not provide the necessary protection, failing to prevent the accumulation of dirt and the shedding of potential particles. It is also noted that the internal opening windows did not have insect screens.

According to the Inspection Body, the doors were not smooth, were not made of non-absorbent materials, and had damaged and corroded sections. Additionally, raw material processing tables, as well as bread storage and baking racks used in production—which come into direct contact with food—did not meet hygiene requirements and were not maintained in good condition.

The Inspection Body has set a deadline for the company to eliminate the identified violations.
