Modern medical center being built in Artik for healthcare services across the entire province
In Artik, construction work is underway for a medical center that meets modern standards. It is included in the RA government’s 2021-2026 program as part of the “Construction and reconstruction of buildings of operating medical institutions in accordance with modern standards” initiative.
According to Shirak Governor Davit Arushanyan, all medical services will be consolidated in the new center. It will be equipped with modern equipment. The medical center building will be a typical structure, for which more than three billion drams have been allocated.
According to the governor, urban development programs implemented in Shirak this year include not only school and road construction but also the healthcare sector. Construction work for the dispensaries in Pemzashen and Akhurik is also underway, and the tender for the renovation of Gyumri Polyclinic No. 2 has already begun.
