In the 2025 State Budget, the Ministry of Health will be allocated 1 billion 629 million drams, which is a decrease of 5.3 billion drams compared to 2024. This was reported in the National Assembly by Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan.

Current expenses will decrease by 2.5%, while capital expenditures will increase by 1.8% or 216 million drams.

The Finance Minister added that the 2024 budget included funds for the implementation of comprehensive health insurance, which was not introduced in 2024 and is also not included in the 2025 expenses.
