Drugs found in possession of a citizen
According to the Police, criminal police officers in the Tavush region have uncovered a case of illegal production and possession of drugs.
Operational information was received by the Tavush Regional Department of the Criminal Police that a 47-year-old resident of Berkaber village was engaged in the production and possession of drugs.
The man confessed to producing and storing drugs from cannabis grown on his plot of land.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated, within the framework of which an inspection was conducted. During the search, a total mass of 183.54 grams resembling the drug marijuana was found in the attic of the man’s private house and in the cowshed.
