The annual growth rate of Armenia’s GDP decreased by around 5.7% over the last 2 years, from 13.1% to 6.4%.
Trading Economics predicts that in the third quarter this number will decrease further, reaching around 4.4%.
The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Armenia increased by 6.40 percent in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The annual GDP growth rate in Armenia averaged 6.91 percent from 1998 to 2024, reaching a record high of 19.10 percent in the second quarter of 2006, and a record low of -19.70 percent in the third quarter of 2009.
