Meeting held on constitutional reforms
A regular meeting of the Council on Constitutional Reforms took place, chaired by the Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan.
During the meeting, the Council discussed a number of important issues regarding the investigative committees of the National Assembly.
Specifically, the scope of jurisdiction of the investigative committees, the number of committee members, as well as the mechanism for the distribution of members were addressed. The procedure for discussing reports submitted by investigative committees and their potential consequences were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan, the founder of the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO Daniel Ioannisyan, politician Vladimir Vardanyan, and others.
