Lawsuit for forfeiture of Ishkhan Saghatelyan’s property is in court
The RA General Prosecutor’s Office has applied to the Anti-Corruption Court, demanding the forfeiture of real estate and movable property, as well as an amount equivalent to approximately 700 thousand USD, from National Assembly Deputy Ishkhan Saghatelyan in favor of the Republic of Armenia.
The demand seeks to forfeit from Saghatelyan and his affiliated persons 5 pieces of real estate, 5 vehicles, shares in 3 legal entities, 264 million 516 thousand AMD as the balance of illegal monetary funds, and 2 million 914 thousand AMD which, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, is not justified by the person’s legal income and is of illegal origin or cannot be identified.
