Case of marijuana possession and distribution disclosed in Nor Nork
According to the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), a 25-year-old resident of Yerevan acquired drugs via a Telegram channel and planned to distribute them in the 1st Block of Nor Nork.
The police located the young man near one of the buildings on Gai Avenue and arrested him on suspicion of illegal drug possession, use, and distribution. The “Nissan” make vehicle was towed to the Nor Nork Community Police Department.
As a result of the search, a knife and 3 packages of marijuana, weighing a total of more than 6 grams, were discovered. Subsequent measures revealed that the young man had acquired 110 packages of drugs from the Telegram channel, 22 of which he had already placed in various parts of Nor Nork, while the rest were found in the car.
The police discovered the 22 packages, weighing approximately 49 grams, at one of the addresses on Gai Avenue, and 83 packages in the car, with a total mass of 194 grams.
