Undeclared goods discovered
The SRC (State Revenue Committee) has summarized the cases of smuggling and customs violations recorded over the past week. During the inspection of passenger vehicles at the Bagratashen customs checkpoint, various types of alcoholic beverages were discovered.
During examinations at the Agarak customs crossing point, 2,140 packs of cigarettes and 15,430 liters of diesel fuel were found in trucks and buses across approximately 26 cases.
An undeclared wristwatch branded “Vacheron Constantin” was discovered in the luggage of a passenger arriving on a Paris-Yerevan flight. In another instance, gold bars and gold jewelry were found in the luggage of a passenger arriving on an Istanbul-Yerevan flight.
Additionally, at the Bagratashen border checkpoint, curtain fabrics were discovered in a specially adapted hiding place located in the rear seat of a vehicle.
