SRC employees arrested
Three officials of the State Revenue Committee and one other individual have been detained. The information was confirmed by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee.
It is reported that petitions to apply detention as a preventive measure were submitted to the court for four of the five individuals arrested the previous day, and these petitions were granted. Among those detained are three officials from the State Revenue Committee.
It is worth recalling that on January 15, five individuals were arrested, including officials holding senior positions within the State Revenue Committee. The arrests were carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated on the basis of data obtained through operational-intelligence measures conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
According to the case materials, the SRC officials are accused of group abuse of official powers. The preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings is ongoing.
