
NATO Military Chief Visits Armenia
A delegation led by NATO’s International Military Staff Chief, Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak, arrived in Armenia for a working visit. On October 3, the delegation held bilateral meetings at the Armenian Ministry of Defense’s administrative complex with the First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, and the Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department, Levon Ayvazyan.
During the meetings, a wide range of issues was discussed, particularly focusing on the current state of Armenia-NATO cooperation and opportunities for development. The most effective directions for collaboration were highlighted.
The Armenian side presented the progress of reforms in the Armenian Armed Forces. Regional security issues were also discussed, and opinions were exchanged on international geopolitical developments.
