Iran strikes American military bases

Iran has carried out missile strikes against American military bases located in several countries across the region. The information was reported by the Iranian news agencies Tasnim and Fars.

According to the reports, American facilities in Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Jordan came under fire. It is noted that ballistic missiles hit the Al-Udeid airbase in Qatar, Al-Salem in Kuwait, and Al-Dhafra in the UAE, as well as the U.S. Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain, which is reportedly still on fire.

The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates stated that the country was subjected to an Iranian ballistic missile attack. According to the statement, debris from an intercepted missile fell in a residential neighborhood of Abu Dhabi, resulting in one fatality.

It is also reported that three massive explosions occurred in Amman, the capital of Jordan.

Currently, the airspace of six countries is completely closed: Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

Earlier, it was reported that on the morning of February 28, the United States and Israel had launched strikes against Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump announced that a large-scale operation against Iran has commenced.
