ID cards envisioned for medical workers; a prototype has been presented
The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, announced that special ID cards are planned for doctors within the framework of the unified register of medical workers being introduced in the healthcare system. The Minister published the card’s prototype on her social media page, noting that it could be used both in Armenia and abroad for professional identification purposes.
In the post, she called on medical workers to submit their observations regarding the card’s design, the format for presenting data, and possible additions. According to the Ministry, corresponding changes will be made as a result of the discussions, so that the final version is consistent with the demands of the sector and the expectations of the medical community.
The project is viewed as a step toward standardizing the registration of professional data in the healthcare system and simplifying the identification of doctors, so that in a foreign country there will be no need to present another card, and identification will be faster.
