The bus driver has been dismissed for violating traffic rules
A video was posted on social media yesterday showing the driver of a bus in Yerevan driving in the opposite lane of traffic.
The spokesperson for the Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Kostanyan, announced on his Facebook page that the driver has been dismissed from his job.
In the first six months of 2024, 167 drivers were dismissed for improper behavior toward citizens, traffic violations, and other service-related issues.
Previously, some drivers of public transport routes had left their designated paths. The Yerevan Municipality had classified this as a sabotage against the reforms being implemented in the transport sector.
