
From January to October, 1,926,405 tourists visited Armenia
In the period from January to October 2024, Armenia welcomed 1,926,405 tourists. This figure represents a 5.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. This was announced to the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy.
Over the past 5 years, the number of tourists visiting Armenia has grown steadily. Compared to the same period in 2019, when 1,675,292 visitors were recorded, there has been a 15% increase.
On December 6, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan participated in the Tourism Committee’s annual summary event. He expressed confidence in the successful continuation of cooperation with the World Bank and the launch of the TRIP program. This initiative is expected to significantly transform Armenia’s tourism sector, making it more competitive and attractive.
