Sewage water has flooded the Youth Center located in the 7th district of Nor Nork
Today, a significant uproar arose on the internet. Employees of the Nork’s Youth Center made posts on their Facebook page showing how the surrounding area had been flooded with sewage water.
Since Friday, we have been alerting the “Veolia Water” company, informing them that the Nork’s Youth Center, located in the 7th district of Nork, next to the Saint Sargis Hill, has water bursting from the area, and sewage is leaking into the building’s basement and foundation. It’s a disgraceful situation. The flow seeps between the walls, and we don’t even know where it ends up. We called Veolia 3 times. They say the manhole is clean. What manhole are they talking about? There’s a burst pipe, and you can hear the sound of water. The teachers redirected the water flow toward the nearby playground,– an employee stated in a video.
A few hours after raising the issue in this manner, another video was published in which the same employee stated that the “Veolia Water” company had resolved the problem. This means that, despite 3 days of alerts, the issue was addressed only after gaining widespread attention on social media—and even then, only partially. The company stopped the water leakage, but the repair of the pipe has not yet been completed.
