The European Union has transferred a €1.5 million grant to the Armenian government for the Armenians of Artsakh. This was announced by the EU Delegation to Armenia.
Under the framework of the “State and Resilience Building Contract for the Republic of Armenia” budget support program, the EU has supplemented the €13.5 million grant allocated in September with an additional €1.5 million this week.
This budget support program is aimed at assisting the Armenian government in addressing the short-term and medium-term needs of the Armenians of Artsakh, as well as supporting their long-term socio-economic integration, ensuring their inclusion in Armenia’s education, social protection, healthcare systems, and integration into the labor market.
