Electricity Tariffs Will Remain Unchanged
At the December 30 session of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, it was decided to maintain the current electricity tariffs for 2025.
As a result of analyzing all the positive and negative factors affecting tariffs, no need has arisen to revise the electricity tariffs for energy sold to consumers by the “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC, the current tariffs will remain unchanged for consumers, – this was stated in the statement.
The PSRC also approved new limits for ENA and the “High Voltage Electric Networks.” Accordingly, starting February 1, 2025, the tariff margin for the “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC will decrease from 7.5% to 7%. This reduction in the margin means that the company’s profit percentage within the total cost of electricity will also decrease.
